Description

This session will provide a deep-dive into the design and fundamentals of performance engine bearings. In it, we will define overlays, substrates, oil flow, bearing crush, and geometry. We will explore the effect of bearing selection on overall engine performance and reliability. We’ll answer questions like, “How do race-specific components—RPM limiters, superchargers, nitrous oxide, turbos, etc.—affect bearing choices?" And, we’ll cover best practices related to the use and maintenance of these products. Time will be set aside, too, for a live Q&A with the audience.
